About the Role

As IT OPS Specialist, you'll be the person on the ground: the first line of support for our colleagues across Vilgain, the owner of device reliability and the one who keeps our network infrastructure running smoothly. This isn't a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. We're looking for someone who sees a problem and fixes it — before it becomes someone else's emergency.

What you will do (Responsibilities)

  • Provide end-to-end IT support: installation and setup of PCs, laptops, projectors, and streaming devices across Vilgain locations.

  • Oversee and maintain warehouse and retail devices — printers, scanners, and endpoint hardware — to ensure reliable daily operations.

  • Administer and maintain systems across Windows, Linux, and Android environments.

  • Set up and maintain VoIP phones across the organisation.

  • Write clear technical documentation and user manuals; communicate and coordinate with hardware and software vendors.

  • Support colleagues at Prague offices and stores when needed.

What we are looking for (Requirements)

  • At least 1 year of experience in an IT support or IT operations role.

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows, Android, MS Office, and G-Suite.

  • Solid understanding of networking technologies — configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience with hardware diagnostics and repair — field work, not just helpdesk.

  • Strong ownership mindset — you make decisions independently, take responsibility, and proactively improve processes.

  • Patient and empathetic communicator — able to support non-technical colleagues clearly and calmly.

  • Fluent Czech for daily communication; advanced English for technical documentation and vendor communication.

  • Resilient and flexible — able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment and available to assist outside standard hours when critical issues arise.
