Head of Supply Chain

Vilgain is scaling fast - across DTC, retail and B2B, as well as across multiple international markets. Our supply chain will determine whether we scale profitably or break under the weight of our own growth.

We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain to take full end-to-end ownership of Logistics, Planning and Procurement. This is not a purely strategic position. You will define the direction, but you will also go deep into warehouse operations, forecasting models, inventory levels and supplier negotiations to make it happen.

What will be your mission?

• Take full ownership of the end-to-end supply chain organisation across Logistics, Planning and Procurement.

• Design and execute our supply chain strategy for international expansion, including network design, fulfilment setup and carrier strategy.

• Lead major transformation projects such as automation, network redesign and new market launches.

• Build processes, systems and teams that can support 5–10× our current volume.

• Deliver world-class warehouse and logistics performance across speed, accuracy, service level and cost per order.

• Improve customer availability and service levels while reducing supply chain costs as a percentage of revenue.

• Establish a robust, data-driven S&OP and demand-planning capability.

• Improve inventory availability while reducing excess stock and capital tied up in inventory.

• Create clear forecasting, planning and inventory-management standards across markets and channels.

• Strengthen our negotiation capabilities and supplier-risk management.

• Hire, develop and inspire a strong leadership team across Logistics, Planning and Procurement.

• Work closely with Finance, Product, Technology, Sales and other key stakeholders across Vilgain.

Who are we looking for?

• You have 10+ years of experience in senior Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations roles.

• You have successfully led Logistics, Planning and Procurement functions - ideally all three.

• You come from FMCG, food, retail, manufacturing or high-growth e-commerce.

• You understand warehouse operations, transportation, demand planning, S&OP, procurement and inventory management in depth.

• You can combine strategic thinking with a willingness to go deep into operational detail.

• You have strong analytical and financial skills and make decisions based on data rather than opinions.

• You are comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with ambitious growth targets.

• You communicate clearly, can challenge senior stakeholders and are fluent in English.

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business or a related field.
