Product Manager Senior - Shelfstable Food

We are Vilgain 🚀, a fast-growing food & e-commerce brand changing the market of nutrition, home care, and lifestyle products. We are looking for a Category Manager with strong product sense, a commercial mindset, and the ability to build long-term supplier relationships.

What you’ll own

• Full ownership of assigned shelf-stable food categories.

• Managing the process from taking over the brief to launching the product on the market.

• Sourcing and selecting the right suppliers, manufacturers, ingredients, and packaging, including purchasing and supplier relationship management.

• Monitoring trends and identifying new opportunities.

• Working closely with production, quality, and purchasing teams to ensure a smooth production process — including availability, quality, lead times, and supplier capacity.

• Collaborating with marketing on product launches.

Who we’re looking for

• You have strong experience in category management, product management, or private label product development within food/FMCG.

• You understand shelf-stable food, the supplier market, and how a product is built from brief to launch.

• You can manage a category strategically, but you are not afraid to go into detail.

• You have a commercial mindset — you think about margin, pricing, volume, differentiation, forecast, and real product performance.

• You know how to prioritise — more products do not automatically mean a better portfolio.

• You have high ownership, strong drive for results, and can handle a fast-paced environment.

• You want to create products with the potential to succeed not only in Czechia, but also across international markets.
