Vilgain is a premium European nutrition brand built around our “Quality First” philosophy. By combining uncompromising nutritional profiles with exceptional taste, we have established ourselves as a leading lovebrand in Central Europe. As we expand internationally, we are now looking for a driven B2B Sales Representative to help build Vilgain’s presence in Singapore.
This is a hands-on sales role in a greenfield market. You will be out in the market, meeting potential customers, opening new accounts, presenting our products, negotiating deals, and building long-term relationships with partners. You’ll have a high level of ownership and the opportunity to play a key role in establishing Vilgain in Singapore.
What You’ll Do
Own New Business: Proactively identify and approach new B2B customers across retail, specialty stores, gyms, HORECA, distributors, and other relevant channels.
Be Out in the Market: Spend a significant part of your time meeting clients in person, visiting stores and businesses, attending industry events, and building relationships on the ground.
Prospect & Acquire: Build your own pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, market research, and personal meetings. Turn prospects into long-term customers.
Sell the Brand: Present Vilgain’s products and value proposition to potential partners and demonstrate why our quality, product range, and brand can win in the Singaporean market.
Negotiate & Close: Lead commercial negotiations, prepare offers, agree on terms, and close new accounts.
Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships with buyers, owners, category managers, and other key decision-makers.
Grow Existing Accounts: Identify opportunities to increase sales, expand product listings, and develop successful partnerships.
Bring Market Insights: Stay close to customers and competitors and share insights with our HQ to help us understand what works in Singapore.
Own Your Numbers: Take responsibility for your pipeline, activity levels, new customer acquisition, revenue, and overall sales performance.
Your Profile
B2B Sales Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account acquisition, ideally within Food & Beverage, FMCG, nutrition, retail, or consumer goods.
Hunter Mentality: You genuinely enjoy winning new business. You are comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, and starting conversations with people who don't know the brand yet.
Field Sales Experience: You enjoy being out with customers rather than behind a desk. Regular client visits and face-to-face meetings are a natural part of how you sell.
Singapore Market Knowledge: You understand the local commercial landscape and ideally already have a relevant network across retail, HORECA, distributors, gyms, or specialty stores.
Commercial Drive: You are motivated by measurable results and know how to build a pipeline, manage opportunities, negotiate, and close.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You are comfortable building something from scratch and taking ownership without a predefined playbook.
Communication: Excellent spoken and written English and the confidence to communicate with business owners, buyers, and senior decision-makers.
Mobility: You are comfortable with frequent travel across Singapore for client meetings and business development activities.
